Pets 'n Portraits Fundraising Event

 

May 2, 2005 - Charlottesville, VA

S & C Consulting, Prestige Contracting and Art Shaped World were involved                                                         in the Pets 'n Portraits Fundraising Event to raise money for the Charlottesville/                                       Albemarle SPCA.

Many local businesses donated print materials and gift certificates for the event.                                          Sonnet Henkel of Art Shaped World painted the winning picture and drew three -                                          second prize sketches. (The tall man with glasses and a white shirt and tan pants,                                                in the back of several pictures is Chris, Nikki's brother.)

         Lilah was the winner of the 1st Prize - Short Story by Nikki Leigh

Lilah's family - Nathan and Kristie are main characters in Lilah's story.

The story is set on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, at the Cape Hatteras lighthouse in Buxton.
