I thought it would be good to tell you a little about myself. Nikki Leigh is my pen name. I picked that pen name when I was a teenager. My home is in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Its a beautiful area and its only about 5 hours to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and about 6 hours from Cape Hatteras.
These pictures are my two cats. They stick close while I am writing. Shadow is the bobtail. He is about 6 and very set in his ways. Shadow loves to sit on my lap when I'm working on the couch. Otherwise, he stays on the other side of the room. He loves the fact that I write fulltime and spend many hours at home. After Shadow was the only cat, he had a little difficulty getting used to having a kitten around the house, but he has settled in and is a very sweet and caring "pappa".
Miz Muze moved in with us in the middle of August '05. She was about 1 month old at the time. To say she is a bundle of energy and curiosity would be a big and under statement. She is never far away and gets very upset when I go out. I've worked at home since she has been here and she is slightly spoiled :)

I also own a Marketing & Business Consulting business. My website is http://www.sandcconsulting.com/. I do a lot of freelance writing work and am completing my first non fiction book which will be published under my name. Since July 2005, I have ghostwritten a number of marketing books for clients. My first non fiction books will be released in the spring and summer of 2006.
